New River Member Registration

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NOW A WAITING LIST FOR RIVER SECTION MEMBERSHIP.

YOU MAY USE THE FORM BELOW TO BE ADDED TO THE WAITING LIST. WE WILL CONTACT YOU BY EMAIL WHEN WE ARE ABLE TO OFFER YOU A PLACE.

Applications are invited from anyone wishing to join the River Section. River membership runs from the 16th June each year.

Renewals are due by 31/3 each year. River Section members also enjoy access to Pete’s Pond (which is available to fish all year) as well as fishing on the sections of the Grand Union Canal controlled by Blenheim Angling Society and shared with URACS, from Batchworth (Lock 81) to Denham Deep (Lock 87) which can offer some good catches.The canal may be fished at night and during the closed season. Adult membership includes a family ticket (Partner and children under 16 may fish accompanied) and you are able to fish at night.

Current Fees:
Regular (Over 18) £60,

Concessions:

Over 66 £45,

Juniors (Over 16) £15.

New River Members are required to pay a joining fee of £25.

To renew: Members can choose to attend a working party or pay an opt out fee. Members who wish to rejoin but have not completed their working parties are expected to pay the opt out fee before tickets will be issued. (This applies to anyone who has been a member in the past 2 seasons – rejoining is not a way to avoid working parties!).

When the form is submitted you will receive an email (please check your junk folder) and you will be redirected to a paypal payment page. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A PAYMENT UNTIL YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN.

Once a vacancy becomes available we will contact you by email.

If you prefer to pay by cheque, payment instructions are on the email.

Once you have paid you will receive website access and your ticket. Please always carry some other form of id with you when on our fishery so the bailiff can validate your ticket.

Allow 14 days for your ticket to be issued. Please do not enter the fishery before receiving your ticket.

Please note: To apply to join the waiting list for Full membership, giving access to Springwell Lake, you will need to be proposed and seconded by existing Full members who will be able to obtain the form through the Membership Secetary.
