New River Member Registration

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN OUR RIVER SECTION MEMBERSHIP (giving you access to our stretch of the River Colne, Pete’s Pond, the G.U.C. and TVAA waters) YOU CAN APPLY TO JOIN THE WAITING LIST BY COMPLETING THE FORM BELOW. WE WILL CONTACT YOU BY EMAIL WHEN WE ARE ABLE TO OFFER YOU A PLACE.

Applications are invited from anyone wishing to join the River Section. Membership renewals are due by 31/3 each year.

We do expect to have a small number of vacancies each year and we will invite you to join as soon as we are able.

You will need to have joined / renewed before 31/3 to fish any waters that are open during the traditional closed season.

Once you are a member, you will be given access to the members section of the website where you will find your online ticket. We use the website to manage memberships, working parties and to provide members with updates.

River Section members also enjoy access to Pete’s Pond (which is available to fish all year) as well as fishing on the sections of the Grand Union Canal controlled by Blenheim Angling Society and shared with URACS, from Batchworth (Lock 81) to Denham Deep (Lock 87) which can offer some good catches.The canal may be fished at night and during the closed season. We are unable to offer membership to anyone under the age of 16. Over 16s may apply for Junior Membership.

There is a single Adult membership rate and this includes a family ticket (Partner and children under 16 may fish accompanied) and you are able to fish at night.

Current Fees:

The annual membership fee is currently:

Adult (Over 18) £65

Juniors (Over 16) £35

There is a joining fee, currently £40, payable by new Adult members.

To renew by 31/3: Members can choose to attend a working party or pay an opt out fee. Members who wish to rejoin but have not completed their working parties are expected to pay the opt out fee before tickets will be issued. (This applies to anyone who has been a member in the past 2 seasons – rejoining is not a way to avoid working parties!).

When the form is submitted you will receive an email (please check your junk folder) to confirm submission of your details. You are then on the waiting list. Once a vacancy becomes available we will contact you by email inviting you to join, once fully paid you will receive website access. Your ticket will be available online and you will be able to upload a passport style photo. Please do not enter the fishery before your ticket is available on line.

Please note: To apply to join the waiting list for Full membership, giving access to Springwell Lake, you must be proposed and seconded by existing Full members. They will be able to obtain the form through the Members section of the website. This is the only route to join as a Full Member.
